Lineups and LIVE updates for Benfica vs. Juventus

Juventus desperately needs a win against in-form Benfica to keep their Champions League hopes alive.

Juventus will fight tooth and nail in Lisbon, knowing that anything less than a win will see them eliminated from their Champions League group and leave them with no guarantees of playing in the Europa League. Benfica defeated Juventus 2-0 in the reverse fixture in Turin and will be confident of causing another upset this time on home soil.

With three points from four games, the Bianconeri are in a difficult position in Group H. They are level on points with fourth-place Maccabi Haifa and may be fighting for third place after this matchday.

While a win here would keep Juventus in second place, they would also need to beat PSG in their final group stage game and hope that Benfica loses to Maccabi Haifa.

Meanwhile, Benfica will look to punch their ticket to the knockout stages with another win against Juventus in front of their raucous home crowd.

The Eagles have yet to lose a game this season under German tactician Roger Schmidt and are second in Group H, level on points with Paris Saint-Germain, and are planning to play Champions League knockout football for the second consecutive season after Christmas.

Benfica XI (4-2-3-1) vs. Juventus confirmed lineups Gilberto, Silva, Otamendi, Grimaldo; Luis Fernandez; Aursnes, Rafa, Mario; Ramos

Szczesny; Danilo, Bonucci, Gatti; Cuadrado, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Kean, Vlahovic; Kean, Vlahovic.
